AIRSTREAM

A Partnership For The Ages

Venture is defined as a risky or daring undertake. In many ways, we are the same. We understand that those out there who strive to make a difference do so at great risk, be it a financial venture or expanding their business. Those who must seclude themselves into the unknown to better understand the world around them can still enjoy this style of trailer.

The Airstream Venture is here to suit the needs of those who must often break away from the security of their home to seek something greater. We are to remove some of that risk, and instead, replace it with possibilities and connectivity to technology.

To bring cutting edge advancements and the natural world together, to bring the necessities of a home or office anywhere they are needed in order to increase efficiency, to bring bright minds together and to remove limitations. We are here to make sure every venture counts.

A Living Workspace

This is a concept that will launch a new venture tool to create a Google powered mobile smart-office. The trailer would act as a versatile platform capable of meeting any and all needs of individuals and businesses alike.

An incorporation of cutting edge Google technologies and services would enable any brand or company to expand their global reach and connectivity to the technological age.

Branding the Trailer

The branding of the Airstream Venture concept runs parallel with the concept of technology and innovative ideas for the future. Being a concept that relies heavily on the tech inside of it, the logo and supporting type are based on a more futuristic visual identity.

The logo design incorporates type that is more futuristic and has modern shaping and type interaction. The E’s in the logo have a noticeable design motif to them that is more radical in shaping in that they do not have stems.

The “nTu” is another noticeable design
style in the logo that offers a visually appealing design element that helps to further the look of the type as a modern typographic logo.

Better Amenities, Better Results

In order for this trailer to separate itself from the rest, it needs to be able to adapt to any business need. We came up with two examples to help define the range of needs: the Discovery Channel documenting an expedition in the Mojave Desert, and the Orange Chef Co. presenting and selling their product.

Both companies will require a staff of people, strategically placed power outlets, living amenities, and internet access. The Discovery Channel would have more individuals embarking on this journey, so they would need a larger living quarters which would mean more bedding and kitchen trailers. They would also need more office/workshop space, bringing more office trailers with them. The Orange Chef Co. has to sell products so they may benefit with a living quarters trailer and a sales floor trailer.

Trailer renderings are not to scale of the proper trailer size. For example, the Venture Dreams will most likely be the longest possible Airstream trailer to provide maximum comfort.

The Partnership

The following is an example of how the standard and fleet concepts of the Airstream Venture will be demonstrated through the Google Convoy’s journey. This is a hypothetical marketing campaign through which Google purchases a fleet of Airstream Ventures in order to bring this amazing partnership to the people and inspire other companies to consider buying Ventures as well. This convoy will promote both companies while demonstrating the qualities only accessible through the use of the Airstream Venture.

The fleet will roll out from Jackson Center, Ohio and drive to Google Inc. in Mountain View, California. From there, Google will set out on a coast to coast trip to New York, NY and end up at the Google offices on 76 Ninth Avenue where they will do one more demonstration.

Powered by the Airstream Venture

This will act as the flagship trailer design for the public introduction of the Airstream and Google partnership. This specific trailer will be modeled after the standard layout and demonstrate the live/work capabilities. What makes this the flagship model is that it will be towed by Google’s self driving car: because first impressions matter.
